His Divine Guidance System                  Great Read: I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman by Nora Ephron, Vintage Books, Random House Inc. (c) 2006

Rules for Being Human

1.  You will receive a body.  You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2.  You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life.  Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons.  You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

3.  There are no mistakes, only lessons.  Growth is a process of trial and error experimentation.  The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works."

4.  A lesson is repeated until it is learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.  When you have learned it, you can then go on to the next lesson.

5.  Learning lessons does not end.  There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons.  If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

6.  "There" is no better than "here."  When your "there" has become "here," you will simply obtain another "there" that will, again, look better than "here."

7.  Others are merely mirrors of you.  You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8.  What you make of your life is up to you.  You have all the tools and resources you need.  What you do with them is up to you.  The choice is yours.

9.  Your answers lie inside you.  The answers to life's questions lie inside you.  All you need to do is look, listen and trust.

10.  You will forget all this.  (anonymous)

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Heb. 11: 1)

Faith through the Storm by Jaclyn Henderson

What do you do when you can't find your way?  Alone and discouraged you pass through the day.

When is the time for this family of man to stand close together hand upon hand?

Shout to the mountains ~ Sing out on the hill ~ Roar like a lion ~ Encompass your fill.

Where can you be when the day does not end, but falls down before you not trying to mend?

How can you care for your family on earth?  Your friends now have left you, all gone from your birth.

Shout to the mountains ~ Sing out on the hill ~ Roar like a lion ~ Encompass your fill.

Now is the time for each person to see that love in your heart protects you, carries me.

Believe, for the sound of the angels on high will pass through your doorway like birds in the sky.

Shout to the mountains ~ Sing out on the hill ~ Roar like a lion ~ Encompass your fill.

Faith Message ~ Give all (yourself included) faith.

Saint Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within.  May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.   May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.  May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

Cherish Who You Love

...especially when you don't have a clue what you've unearthed, what you've uncovered.  It's a mystery.  You don't see what you created.  What attracts your attention doesn't stand a chance for Life is at hand, so Give it up. Drop it by the wayside. Here is the light that shines in the moment, so take ahold of yourself anew.  See yourself awakening to the beauty that's above.  He's waiting for you.  All you have to do now is believe for life creates all things.  God happens.
