Nature Writer Gary Ferguson said it well when he wrote,"...I can no
longer imagine being broken without a wild place to fall apart in."
(Shouting at the Sky, Troubled Teens and the Promise of the Wild,
St. Martins Press, 1999, p. 15.) He must have been speaking about my
home and the healing energies that emanate from this property in the
Pacific Northwest. Here, under a green-domed sky of conifer forest,
I share a life with my husband, with love and care for our two sweet
cats and many other woodland creatures.

And here we are! Dick and Jaclyn Henderson, the two love birds in the sun. Ah! The sun! Here we are at Illahee Park, with a bit of Puget Sound showing in the back. Jaclyn is wearing a Mariners cap. They are both avid baseball fans and someday would like to travel around the country and see a baseball game at every baseball park in the nation! Quite an adventure (I hear retirement calling!...)

And here she is! Chakra, my cat, a tortise shell calico cat, transplanted
from Colorado, and one love of my life. While I write and work at my computer she sleeps in her own chair next to me (helping me).  She
loves to sleep in our bed too, but in reality her first love is to lie in the
sun and soak up some rays. You see her here on our deck, before the
    deck was painted amazon red.
